The Viral Video

In the spring of 2017, an education technology startup called Mystro was planning to expand into multiple different cities across the Southeast. Their model was simple: connect capable college student tutors with high school students in need. To successfully launch in other cities, Mystro needed to sell its unique model and its success to its target customers: the parents.

That’s where Elevate Media came in. Talking with Mystro’s founders, we realized that a video for Mystro needed to appeal to both kids, who were the users of the app, and the parents, who paid for their kids. With that in mind, we crafted a script that told the user experience of Mystro and demonstrated the results of their service. After that, we kicked it into high gear and produced the video, gathering the actors, shooting the film, and editing it to perfection.

The Mystro video exploded. Since its posting, the video has been viewed tens of thousands of times and shared hundreds of times, landing Mystro on news outlets like Hypepotamus and USA Today.
